I got the 0.99 version installed, and it's helped a bit in that I now know why it's crashing (due to the added debug info, or maybe I just missed it before). Anyways, the problem turns out to be a bit strange. Okay, let me say first I've had internet running on windows for like over a year now, and I haven't had any real problems with anything working. Turns out though, the neither of wsock.vxd nor wsock.386 even exist on my system!! What does this mean? I did an ftp-search and got wsock.vxd (since that's the win95 version, I assume) but I don't know how to install it properly. Is this all because I'm using Trumpet Winsock/TCPMan? Do I then need to install MS exchange or something? I must admit I nuked that little sucker when HD space got low (oops!) Well that's win95 for you, do it thier way or your screwed I guess. So what do you reccomend doing? - Calvin -
