Thank you very much for calling this beta announcement to my attention, which I found on dejanews. The DJGPP port of Ghostscript will solve lots of problems for people, and the DOS/4GW conflict, at least in the PostScript area, may affect only a few of us who use specialized programs such as Image Alchemy PS. Incidentally, I should add as a curiosity that Image Alchemy PS seems to work normally with CWSDPMI from the DOS command line, and only crashes within Emacs.
