I don't know about animating gifs, but I can surely recommend a really good program for converting those gifs or AVI's (I think it does that :). I just found it, and I like it. It's called display. Anyway you can make your own FLICs from separate pictures with it. (it's freeware) You can get it and many other graphics stuff from http://www.uni-jena.de/~p6sepa/software.htm Go get it!
