One possible cause of the "flashing" problem is that you have an environment variable called "TERM" set. If so, unset it and see if problems go away. Another possible cause is that you didn't unzip with a LFN-compatible unzipper. Try WinZip. FAQ section 22.14 talks about this more. Nate Eldredge eldredge AT ap DOT net
