When I run it on my 486 with a Hercules video card, it runs fine in 320x200, 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768 resolution. However, I have run it on a Pentium with an S3 graphics card (also with DirectX installed). I run the program full-screen in a Windows95 DOS box. The graphics modes look fine, but the text in text mode portions of the program is mostly squares. Also, I have given the program to a few friends who say that it crashes their computer when it tries to use a graphics mode (I don't yet know what kind of graphcis cards they have). Since the program runs fine on my 486, I assume that the problem lies in the Allegro library not supporting certain graphics cards. Can someone help me with this? I don't know what to do about this problem. I'll e-mail the program to you if you need me to. Please e-mail me if you can help. Thanks.
