4tH is basic framework for creating application specific
scripting languages. It is a library of functions centered around
a virtual machine, which guarantees high performance, ease of use
and low overhead.

Th package contains instructions how to modify the package in order to fit your
own requirements.  All its basic building blocks (compiler,
interpreter, decompiler, loader and saver) can be called with a
single line of C. No initialization necessary.

4tH is compiled to bytecode. Several compiled applets can reside in memory at
the same time. Compiled applets can be saved to disk and reloaded. The bytecode
is very compact! A fully functional Uuencode or Uudecode take up LESS than 1 KB!

Compilation is done in memory and is very efficient. 25K sources compile in just
40K of memory.
