If the answer to the question is explained in the FAQ, there's nothing
wrong in pointing the questor there.  In fact, the net etiquette
explicitly requests not to ask questions that are discussed in the FAQ
(however, this group is tolerant to such question nonetheless).  The
rationale for this is avoiding bandwidth waste and incorrect or
inaccurate postings.
