I know I can work out how to do this by going thru screeds of documentation but I don't see the point of re-inventing the wheel. I also know that there are a number of shareware programs that display and modify JPEGS but all I need is a function to display when called and wait for a user responce and when that is received return to the calling procedure. Therefore if one of the DJGPP users has code like this how can I persuade you/them to part with the source code ? Regards, Alf Stockton stockton AT fast DOT co DOT za www.fast.co.za/~stockton
