I was wondering for something: Imagine: - you've written your own graphical routines. (not in VESA) - you use a shadow buffer to free you prog from flicker Has anydoby try to use the DMA mem to mem programming to blit a buffer. Your buffer is supposed to be under the 1Mo. Does anybody knows if there's a way to indicate to the video card not to refresh its video memory so the modification to the processor memory would not be seen at the screen and then re-enable the refresh (in precise: of the video memory, not of the screen) ? -- ^ ^ ^ | | | +-+-+ Fabrice ILPONSE | | | -
