No restrictions other than the memory available.
Are you sure your EXE is generated with debug info. What's the size, is it 4 
(or more) times 1.8Mb? Did you recompiled all the modules after switching to 
-g?

How much memory do you have in your system? Try:
1) go32-v2
2) Enable the switch to show the memory in the IDE (is in prefferences).
