Ugh, the cursor is ever centered?!, I think I can do that, in fact I have a flag that forces to center the cursor, is enabled after a jump to marker (for example), of course that normally is disable just after the jump. But I guess it can be forced. I'll try it just for fun, I think the effect will be very funny. > >> real-time program output capture, > >> scrollback through captured output and commands, and a few others). > > RHIDE does it and EMACS too. > > Not very nicely. I can't see where it comes usefull!, you normally just correct the errors and press 1 key! that's pretty simple. > >> These are fundamental design features and can't be added just by > >> binding keys :-) Some time when I have a few days to spare I will > >> try it out, though :-) > > I wasn't talking about EMACS ;-) > > RHIDE captures the errors and shows the line where the error is (the > > column too in Ada ;-). > > That doesn't surprise me - I've used Borland's IDE too, remember :-) > > >>> With RHIDE these alien files will become identical to Borland helps > >>> (much more slow but same look & feel). > >> > >> Yes! The look & feel war is over. The courts ever failed against idiots trying to sue people for the use of "same key", "same commands", etc. > But I'm sure they have more important things to worry about. Yes and things that really can give then money. I doubt they want to spend money against people making programs in countries where they doesn't even know (goes for me ;-). > BTW, how are you able to distribute the source to a "port of Turbo > Vision"? I thought Turbo Vision was a commercial product...? TVision is in the Borland's Web Site!, you just need to go to the Web and download. Robert just distribute diffs against these sources. And the people at Borland knows about that. > >>>> Info reader bug - when I invoke 'info' with a keyword it doesn't know > >>>> about (e.g. 'info djasm'), it reports 'bad command or filename' > >>>> (probably reported by command.com) then hangs. > [sniped] > > Suggestions anyone?
