Can anyone help me here? Not unless you post the *details* of your problem. Tell us the version numbers of your DJGPP installation files. Post the contents of your autoexec.bat, config.sys and djgpp.env files. Then maybe someone may recognise what is going on. Since you say it has only just started happening, maybe you should suspect that you have a virus.
