The bug is in the "Optimal Fill" option and was killed just a day before RHIDE 1.4 was out so 1.4 have it. Another side effect of this bug can be experimented setting: real tabs + tab size = 8 + Optimal fill on and typing "that is a test line " until you reach the column 90 (aprox.) you'll see that 1 character seems to jump beyond the cursor.
