I am using a small DJGPP configuration on a 386SX under DOS 5.0 (readme.1st, faq210b, csdpmi3b, txi390b, bsh1147b, gwk303b, wmemu2b, lss332b, txt122b, txi390b, sed118b, dif271b, fil316b, grep20b, gzp1246b, shl112b). I haven't installed the compiler-related files, since all I want at this point is improved scripting capability and some Unix-like utilities. When I run `info' I consistently get the message: info.exe: dir: No such file or directory (ENOENT) I have checked that the files are in their proper directories; the SET djgpp=c:\djgpp\djgpp.env is in place; and the rest of the installation has gone well. I thought the problem might be a missing DJGPP.ENV file (not included with the files I installed), so I unzipped that particular file from djdev201b and put it in c:djgpp, but I still get the ENOENT message. There is lots of talk in the mail archives about ENOENT but nothing seems to involve info. TIA for any help. Please To: or Cc: to me. jeff williams jeffw AT darwin DOT sfbr DOT org
