From: bkravitz AT red DOT seas DOT upenn DOT edu (Brian Kravitz) Newsgroups: comp.os.msdos.djgpp Subject: Can't find header files Date: 3 Oct 1997 20:59:15 GMT Organization: University of Pennsylvania Lines: 23 Message-ID: <613mb3$1qn$1@netnews.upenn.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: red.seas.upenn.edu To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com DJ-Gateway: from newsgroup comp.os.msdos.djgpp Precedence: bulk I installed djgpp on my NT system, but when I run gcc it can't find any of the header files. I checked, and all of the files exist. I added the two necessary lines to my autoexec file and checked to make sure that they're set in the environment, and they look fine. The one thing that I can think of is that djgpp.env is wrong somehow. djgpp is installed in d:\progra~1\djgpp (used short names to be safe), so I changed the first line of djgpp.env to: DJDIR=D:/PROGRA~1/DJGPP but that didn't seem to work. I've tried changing all forward slashes to backslashes, and that didn't do anything either. It just looks like gcc isn't reading that file or isn't interpreting it correctly or something.
