I was wondering if anyone knows how write directly to the VGA
memory from DJGPP without losing protected mode?  If it's not possible,
can you write to video and still access huge memory chunks?

Basically, what I want to do is have a big block of memory (> 1Mb)
and write portions (64K) of that to the video memory(a000) as fast 
as possible.  Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.
