Because you have your secrets about the details what you did with RHIDE I can only guess, that you have debugged a graphics program (or simply run it inside RHIDE and then your program didn't restore a valid mode). In this case I would recommend you to read a little bit the RHIDE doc where I wrote about some problems with graphics programs. And at last: Giving us also some information about the OS where you run RHIDE would helpfull. In RHIDE there is also (at least in version 1.3) a menu entry in the leftmost menu called "Short bug report" which anybody should use to report bugs (if they are related to RHIDE or not), because it contains some basic information about the system you are using.
