I explained the reasons in another message; the port was NOT done to prove that I can. emTeX doesn't release at least some of its sources, so you can't freely debug it when you have a problem. I've generated hundreds of printed pages with the ported TeX during testing. It is your call, but I suggest you try the DJGPP port to see whether it is reliable enough and judge it then. P.S. I wrote my comment because your original message seemed to indicate that you must boot into Linux to have TeX; you didn't mention emTeX as your other option.
