In your Holy War on Spam, did you ever realize that your cavalier comments (and gratuitous signature) often produce even more noise than the innocent questions of newbies? we all hate "FREE SEX!" ads, but one thing worse than that is following them up with comments like "Watch out for more in this NG!" I guess everyone hates spam, personally I don't appreciate people yelling "I hate spam! I hate spam!" since that's implicit. Also, while you are certainly entitled to your opinions about Emacs, perhaps you should preface them with "This is my own opinion" or something, instead of holding forth as if they were gospel. Besides, what you wrote about Emacs is, while it may contain a small amount of humor, is quite inaccurate and obviously opinionated. We all have our favorite likes and hates, but the fact that Emacs is distributed with DJGPP must be saying something. Use RHIDE if you will; I don't claim to be a better anything because I use Emacs.
