I have solved it with the farpeek und farnspeek funktions which are working were well. I can only use small buffers because I want to have realtime I/O. Could I increase the I/O performance using DMA or the dosmemget funktions with small buffers (about 128 -256 words)? Thanks for any suggestions Peter -- ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Peter Schwalbach EMAIL: Peter DOT Schwalbach AT post DOT rwth-aachen DOT de (dialup) Hasslerstrasse 7 ps AT ind DOT rwth-aachen DOT de (Institut) D-52066 Aachen Tel.: 0241/534918 Hochschulnetz: 6978
