This is an announcement to my new game gama2. The game is freeware, you can do anything with it. The game is not ready, this is only the development version of it. Game runs on Linux console (svgalib), on Linux X11 (shm and 8bpp server only) and on Windows95(svgalib+winsock). The last is very alpha and for client only. In some parts the game is next version of my previous game NetGame. 2D multiplayer space fights. Teoretically can run about 120 clients to one server. As I said game is not finished. If I continue developing it, I'll do it in autumn, so I need your help for testing and new ideas and graphics. You can get gama2 from sunsite.unc.edu://pub/Linux/games/multiplayer. If you don't like to compile it, you can get ready binaries from my homepage: http://www.pld.ttu.ee/~indrek. To compile the game on 95 you need DJGPP and svgalib ported on it. On Linux you need svgalib for console or X libraries and headers. It's also described in README files. /* * Indrek Mandre * indrek AT warp DOT edu DOT ee */
