I wrote Folksong -1.0 with the intention of making it a base that others could extend. It's available right now at http://world.std.com/~tob/folksong.zip It reads MIDI, displays it in piano-roll notation, and lets you enter notes. The design is documented in detail so it should be easy to build on. MIDI docs are included. I'm not sure what status it's in now. Someone said they would use it but I've heard nothing since announcing it. Tom
