I have no trouble reading posts in comp.os.msdos.djgpp.  I tried
4 times to create a response to your question, and kept getting error
messages.  So I sent the suggestion directly to you via e-mail.

If my suggestion worked, I hope you will post my response to you
to the newsgroup, so others can read it.  The problem you had may
affect them as well.
