And then I see all those DJGPP proglets supporting LFN's and I wonder - could I use DJGPP to write a wrapper around my DOS editor that supports LFN's? All it has to do is accept a long filename as argument, translate it in the 8.3 format and exec my editor. Has anyone done this before, or knows how to do this?
