Allegro does not come with a compiled lib. you need to run the makefile in the Allegro directory, this will make the lib from the sources (allegro is a source only distribution, as it says in the docs.) THEN you can compile allegro programs NO PROBLEM! (gee, i hope i spelled that 5 syl word right...) phil
