I've installed GNU Emacs and I'm reading mail through GNUS. I'm attempting to write a LOCAL score file. When I've finish to write it down, I press C-c C-c to save, but it refuses to save the file with the message: Opening output file: no such file or directory (ENOENT), e:/djgpp/gnu/emacs/News/nndoc+brozzis:brozzis.SCORE The file name isn't perhaps accepted by the operative system ? I'm running DJGPP under WIN95 with LFN=y. BTW: rmail doesn't work as I expected. If I load a message and then M-x rmail-mode, it writes Counting messages... Counting messages...done Expunging deleted messages... Expunging deleted messages...done but nothing happens (no folding), no warning message... If I run RMAIL, I cannot load an existing folder. I downloades sources for obtaining movemail.exe (it was a try, no warning message about that!), nothing changed. I but a /bin/sh in 2 different partitions... the same absence of any error. I used RMAIL under XEmacs for a while, for this reason I think it's a problem of the dos port or my [mis-]configuration. .el files hasn't many documentations in it. Has anyone a solution ? TIA Stefano
