It can be downloaded from http://www.dragonfire.net/~psi/aanigo/wininfo/ . For those of you who don't know, all of the DJGPP docs are, like many UNIX help files, in the GNU Info format. To briefly summarize the useful features of WinInfo, it uses the familiar Windows web browser-type interface with blue underlined links. A history of the nodes you visit is kept, and you can move quickly through it with Back and Forward buttons. As in Windows Help, Contents, Index, and Find searching options are available. In Contents, a hierarchical tree of topics is presented for your easy navigation. Index lists all topics alphabetically with a text box that you can type words into and have the topic list jump to the closest match. Find lets you enter search text and have WinInfo return all of the words found in the current document that contain that text. You then select which of these words you are looking for and see a listing of the nodes they were found in along with the number of matches per node. So, I urge you to try WinInfo if you use Windows 95 or NT, both to help me out in the development of this useful program, and to possibly increase the ease with which you browse the DJGPP help files.
