Too much overhead, too crash : prone, etc... : atomly I'd take Windows over a Mac anyday too. I can't believe how anyone could like the damn things. The hardware is as capable as that of a PC, if not more in some cases, but the OS is nothing but a clusterfuck! I don't care how "easy to use" it is. It can't multitask worth crap and eats up more memory than windows 95 does even. The "easy to use" mantra is mostly a bunch of crap as well. All computers are easy to use, some are merely more quickly learned. Most people learn how to use the mac very quickly, but then they are stuck having to use a mouse to do everything. With the PC, you can use the mouse and a GUI to do things, but you can also progress on to using the command prompt to manipulate files and startup programs. The Mac is for those people who lack either the ability or the desire to learn how to use a computer in any serious way. I don't have so much of a problem with this as I do with Mac people preaching at me that my pentium is crap. Even if I had a 386sx-16 I would still be able to do more with it than any of them can on their Powermacs because I know how the damn things work.
