(If uninterested, just skip this message. Otherwise, read on). I've been designing one for a while, but I'm about to put it through some major changes. What I had in mind was simply an engine that could read in ship, mission and plot files and let you play them. There would be no default anything. It would let you make your own everything, with the events handled on a signal-based system (as in, explosion, creation, etc) in real-time. The reason I'm posting this is because, if I have no contact with anyone else, this will end up being something that only I will like (I'd like as many people as possible to like it).
