Save your breath. Get the DJGPP RPM from the Redhat contribs directory on sunsite. It's http://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/distributions/redhat/contrib/ /RPMS/djgpp-2.1-1.i386.rpm And, if you're using an RPM system (Caldera OpenLinux, Caldera Network Desktop, or any Redhat box) just install it. Works perfectly for me(TM) and with tkInfo to read the DJGPP libc reference and XEmacs for editing in another window, beats the crap out of everything. :) Of course the caveat: the DJGPP RPM does NOT have Objective-C or C++, just plain C (which is all that I use). ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Orlando Andico IRC Lab/EE Dept/UP Diliman email: orly AT gibson DOT eee DOT upd DOT edu DOT ph http://gibson.eee.upd.edu.ph "There's an obvious attraction to the path of least resistance.."
