I would like to know if DJGPP itself can be distributed for free either along with free software or commercial software. I'm asking this, because i need a free distributable compiler for two things. One is my free BASIC interpreter GBasic. I think of so many things that could be implemented into it, that the executable would get much too big for an interpreter. Also not everybody would use all this stuff, so i want to create plugins for that interpreter in form of object files. So i would just distribute my *.o files and the user could link all the stuff he needs into the exe file. The second thing would be that i want to create a (commercial) BASIC to C translator for several BASIC interpreters. My tool would just generate DJGPP readable C source code out of the BASIC code. But the thing is that people that are using tools like QBasic normally don't use C compilers like DJGPP. So would it be legal to distribute DJGPP as whole or parts of it along with my two projects? Thanks for your help. --- Gunnar Beushausen GBeushausen AT t-online DOT de http://www.hof.de/~gbasic
