Date: Tue, 18 Mar 1997 11:12:41 GMT Message-ID: <332f786c.8893723@newmail.mclink.it> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I had discovered this problem in RHIDE 1.1b but, before posting this message, I was waiting to try 1.1d, then, yesterday, I've downloaded the version 1.2 and, being the problem still there, here I am. This is the scenario: I've set the sintax help out to search in C library and allegro info files and all works perfectly. But when I try the search of a topic on all files RHIDE goes back to the DOS prompt without even ask to save the possibly modified editor files. The following sequence of steps shows the problem (at least in my case): 1) Choose 'Help/Index for syntax help' 2) Press Enter to get in the description of an argument (for example the first one, __crt0_glob_function for me). 3) Inside this description search for 'alleg' on 'all files'. 4) Bang ! I get the same behavior even when I set only libc.inf to be searched. For instance searching ('in the file' or 'in all files' is the same) the string 'init' and pressing a few times the combination CTRL-l to repeat the search. Marco.
