Should we > not try to implement these features > in Allegro making it more powerful still? Ummm, sorry, have you used OpenGL??? It has so much stuff that Allegro doesn't that it borders on scary. And OpenGL 1.1 just added a heap of new stuff. I suggest going to www.sgi.com and having a look around. Also, have a look at the man pages on OpenGL and see how much work needs to be done... :) Oh, and a last note, I don't use Allegro. If I am going to code for OpenGL, I would prefer a seperate module completely... :) Leathal.
