I happened to be in England on holiday when that issue came out, so I have it, lemme check what version is on it... : Does anyone know what release version this is and whether it is a full : release... It has djgpp v2.0 on it. Here is a list of the included packages: BNU252B GCC272B GRX20 MAK373B DJCRX200 DJDEV200 DJLSR200 DJTST200 There are newer versions out for a few of these, but I'm not sure which, becasue I haven't downloaded 2.01 yet, so I'm not sure whats old :) : Incidently, I rate magazine CDROM's as an ideal way to distribute megabyte : hungry programs such as djgpp. High market spreadability (user awareness) : and a perfect backup medium. It certainly beats the hell out of : downloading megs and megs of zips and then leaving them on 'yer hard drive : with potential crash and data loss situations......!! Actually, I'd say magazine CDs are usually crap. EIther that or my cd drive is REALLY fucked. Just looking at the directories (not viewing files) on this cd gave me a bunch of "Abort Retry Fail" messages. Downloading isn't that bad either, it only took me a couple of hours to download djgpp 2.0 with my old 14.4, and now I have a 33.6k :) : ------------------------------------------------------------ : --- Joe Yeomans on Spud's Xanadu
