Can anyone suggest some suitable graphics libraries...

I have djgpp release 1.04 but can't get much out of the included graphics
drivers (sob).

I am considering upgrading to release 2.0.

Should I go for the GRX libraries or is there an alternative.

Are there any non GNU but GNU compatible libraries that I should look out
for.
