I don't know when I cahnged it, but as far as I remember the version 1.0 (uploaded Dec 5 1996 on SimTel) had this already fixed. But probably you have an "old" %DJDIR%/data/keybind.txt. This file is the keyboard configuration file for RHIDE. BTW: Because I got such mails also from other people I think, many of them dowload the RHIDE binary archive, extract only rhide.exe and then they think that's all. PLEASE read at least the short readme's which come with RHIDE and do the above steps only if you realy know what you do.
