Because of the special Mailsystem here please do not reply to the email address in the header but use devw1v68 AT ibmmail DOT com instead. I'll get that fixed within the next month or so. The problem is rather simple: a Compaq notebook LTE5100, Pentium 90MHz, 16MB RAM, DOS 6.22, DJGPP 2.x ans RHIDE DEC-09-96. DJGPP is running fine, no problems at all. RHIDE is extremely slow. It take some minutes to get the opening "about" screen. Key response times are 10s and more. Even DJGPP within RHIDE is unusable slow. The same software (copied 1:1) on a different machine is fine. And to make things more confusing: if I try RHIDE on the Compaq from within a WfW3.11 DOS-Box it is fine also. Any ideas welcome. I already tried running DOS without any Config.sys or Autoexec.bat, bare feet, no difference. his is my DJGPP.ENV: #= Don't edit this line unless you move djgpp.env outside #= of the djgpp installation directory.
