Whenever I try to execute make in a subdirectory, es: target : dir1 cd dir1 ; make all make fails saying that he is unable to open temporary file w:/xxx/yyy/dj000000 The same happened when compliling GNU Shell Utils when the makefile tries to generate some .c files by making a sed and redirecting output using '>'. I was able to bypass the problem using the redir command. I usually work with DOS 5.0 and DJGPP V2 (it should be a fairly recent update) and COMMAND.COM as a shell. Any help and suggestion? Thank You -- You know, I'm disclaiming etc. etc. etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo Tavazzani - R&D | "The more experience and insight I obtain Italtel S.I.T.
