I'd also endorse NASM as a good option for people wanting to write Intel-styled assembly for use w/ DJGPP. Although NASM lacks any macro facilities, using NASM in combination with CPP can fix that problem easily. It's my opinion that NASM is the best free assembler for the x86 available at the moment.
