Thanks for help,
the built-in vesa-driver works well with my ELSA WINNER 1000:

   1024x768x256 (60 Hz may be interlaced?)
or  800x600x256 (72 Hz non-interlaced!)

just by setting

  GO32=gw 1024 gh 768 nc 256
  GO32=gw 800 gh 600 nc 256
