From: Steve Holmes Subject: QEMM / QDPMI Questions To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Date: Wed, 13 Jul 1994 08:53:31 -0700 (PDT) My normal environment uses QEMM version 7.03 and QDPMI for the protected mode stuff. For some reason, when I run programs that were previously compiled with djgpp such as makeinfo, gcc, etc. I keep getting a message saying that "vertual memory exhausted" or something to that effect. Yet when I comment out the qdpmi loader in my config.sys file and reboot, the stuff works fine. Does djgpp not support dpmi? or is it simply qdpmi that cannot be around when it does run or what? But now I run out of "pure lisp" space when I finish compiling Emacs without QDPMI; does QDPMI have anything to do with this other little problem? Thanks saholmes AT crl DOT com
