I also | obtained the libgrx graphics and installed them on my pc. I installed | these according to the directions and checked this several times and on | several pcs. When I compile any of the graphics test codes with djgpp or | libgrx they compile successfully. However, they don't appear to send | graphics to my screen and often crash the computer. I figured this was a | problem with the graphics driver specification. I have a Trident 8900C | chip with 1M. I have tried setting the driver in the GO32 variable to | all of the trident drivers, and I have tried using all combinations | options to this variable. I have also tried using the plain EGA, and VGA | drivers with various options. I have also not set the go32 environmental | variable. I have also done similar attempts on other machines with other | graphics drivers. I feel that I am missing something fundamental. Has | anyone had similar experiences or can anyone offer any sugestions. | I don't know if this will help you but ... I have a Trident 8900C and use libgrx. My GO32 environment variable is: GO32=nodpmi driver c://tr8900.grn gh 600 gw 800 th 25 tw 80 nc 256 This works fine for me. Note the use of `nodpmi' in my case because I use 386MAX. Hope this helps, Paul Harness gapa83 AT udcf DOT gla DOT ac DOT uk
