I think Unix programmers (djgpp target) know TeX most of the time as most (or even all) unix systems have installed a version. Hey, I just said tex libcref prthplj libcref and that's it. Couldn't be easier. Moreover TeX is freeware, for WP documentation you need a commercial editor as WP or Word.
