Sounds like you have a Borland compiler on your path ahead of the djgpp files. gcc is probably trying to execute Borland's cpp. I too use multiple compilers. I have a batch file called CSET.BAT which take args of gcc, bc31, etc and sets paths appropriate for each compiler.
