Dos uses ':' as a drive designator... I'm using VPATH, and VPATH=..:../bsd doesn't work on DOS. So I tried: VPATH=.. ../bsd and it worked on DOS. I tried it on Unix with gcc 3.70, and it worked... This "bug" is useful, and shouldn't go away. The documentation should read: A ':' or white space... under the VPATH entry. marty Member of the League of Programming Freedom leisner AT sdsp DOT mc DOT xerox DOT com leisner AT eso DOT mc DOT xerox DOT com
