To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (djgpp readers) Date: Thu, 28 Apr 94 8:56:29 METDST Mailer: Elm [revision: 70.85] Hi, I tried to compile the Nethack v3.1.3 sources on my PC, using DJGPP (maint4). I successfully compiled the util and dat directories without too much trouble. Then I went to the src directory and entered: "make45 install" This gave me the following error: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ C:\GAMES\NETHACK\SOURCE>make45 install gcc -c -O -I../include -oallmain.o allmain.c Unsupported INT 0x0d General Protection Fault at eip=98f0c eax=00000008 ebx=00000000 ecx=7fffc304 edx=00000002 esi=7fffaf04 edi=7fffa48c ebp=7fffa428 esp=7fffa408 cs=d8 ds=48 es=48 fs=48 gs=48 ss=48 cr2=000099ee Call frame traceback EIPs: 0x00098f0c 0x000d9075 0x000d8efe 0x00098bbf 0x00097a33 0x000236b8 0x000141b3 0x00005dff 0x00022732 0x000248ef *** Error code 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now, before I go digging into the gcc documentation for a couple of hours, I wanted to ask you: Have you ever been notified about this problem and can you tell me what causes it?
