Date: Wed, 27 Apr 94 16:51:56 CET From: Piet DOT Mertens AT arts DOT kuleuven DOT ac DOT be Subject: ld and GCC-RM To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Hi, When linking from within make: gcc -v -o program program.o -lno1 -lno2 -lno3 -lno4 -lgr -lm -lpc ld (v. 2.2.) stops with a message: cannot open m The message changes as the command line grows. The same command given from the DOS command line works fine. The size of the libs (no1..no4) is approx. 620 Kb, and 150 Kb for the other libs (gr, m, pc, c). I tried using a linkfile, but the result is the same. I guess that there is not enough low (DOS) memory (a copy of go32 for make, gcc, and ld). So I could try using GCC-RM (16 bit). Where can I find it ? Thanks for your help, Piet - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - P.
