You probably have another copy of GO32.EXE (older or newer) somewhere in your path. The DJGPP version of OEmacs *REQUIRES* that you use the GO32 that comes with it. If you try to use ANY other version of GO32, you will get this error. In order to work properly, the DJGPP OEmacs needs a special version of GO32. To get around this problem, edit the emacs.bat file to invoke the Emacs binary using: c:\mypath\emacs-19.19\bin\go32 c:\mypath\emacs-19.19\bin\emacs.exe (Replace "c:\mypath" with the actual path to the emacs-19.19 subdirectory.) -- Darryl Okahata Internet: darrylo AT sr DOT hp DOT com DISCLAIMER: this message is the author's personal opinion and does not constitute the support, opinion or policy of Hewlett-Packard or of the little green men that have been following him all day.
