Subject: Ghostscript under djgpp To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Date: Sun, 20 Mar 94 18:57:50 EST From: Angelo Ferrigno I know this could not be the best place to submit such a question, but perhaps some of the users of djgpp have already fced this problem... I normally use the distributed version of ghostscript, which comes with a DOS extender called `Watson'. On some documents (complicated, I admit, but not terribly complicated) ghostscript bombs out with a 'VM-error', which should imply a lack of memory. I wonder if the virtual memory handling capabilities of djgpp could solve the problem... Has anyone out there tried to compile ghostscript under djgpp? Which were the results, especially with respect to the distributed version which uses the Watson extender? Any help is MOST appreciated.
