Howdy to the list, I'm trying to get djgpp to run on my 486 and am experiencing difficulty with go32.exe. Specifically, when I run "tryit" in /samples/hello the machine tells me that it can load/run only version 1.08 (it's v.1.11) of go32. Then it tells me that I need a newer version, and then it quits. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, I'm a little unclear on what (if anything) I ought to set the environment variable GO32 to. Is there some default? Lastly, I just got cirrus54.zip from omnigate.clarkson.edu. (I've a cirrus54XX card, and, well, monkey-see, monkey-get) Where do I put its contents? The files in /drivers have extensions XXX.grd, which are different. Actually, I don't know what these drivers are to be used by. The graphics package...? Sorry if these are all FAQs.
